At least, I assume that April Fools is named after a Saint, all of the other holidays are, right? (Side note, so much for trying to blog every weak… let alone every day)
I celebrated April 1st this year, not by playing any pranks as in years past (wall papering my bosses office pink, for instance) but by partaking in one of the more time honored traditions of this auspicious holiday. Drunken, blindfold, pinball.
Shorty’s sponsored a tournament. The rules were simple. Show up with a partner, be dressed the same (not enforced, but delightfully followed) and have on a blindfold. Eldan and I wore suits and terrible ties, we won our first round and lost the second.
All we won was a hangover and some fuzzy memories that may well last us a lifetime.
